　ナパの超新星Beau Vigneのセカンドラベルです。ラベルの色が、味の濃さまで予感させてくれますね（嬉）。セカンドラベルといっても、原料のブドウは、Beau Vigneがナパの東端アトラスピークエリアの標高400m付近に所有するStags Ridge Vineyardsのもの。

　「そうです！」今やWA誌などの高評価で、入手しにくくなっているBeau Vigneカベルネ・ソーヴィニョンと同じ畑のブドウ。しかも、100％カベルネ･ソーヴィニョンからね～。かなり贅沢な造りをしています！

　リリース直後に、「第5回ナパ・ソノマ飲み合宿」で、その芳醇なタンニンに惚れて買ってきました！

　抜栓したては、タンニンよりも樽のふくよかなクリーミー感とチェリー系の濃い甘さに魅了されたのに、20分も経つと一気にタンニンが出現！そうそうこれこれ！この味です。

「♫タンニン♫タンニン」と歌いたくなるほどに！ 

　翌日になると、果実実が残りつつも全体的に落ち着いた味わいに！抜栓したてが大学出たてのフレッシュマンだったら、2日目は入社5年目？8年目？といった感じ（笑）。ブドウと樽が非常に旨く調和されていて飲みごたえあり！の1本でした。

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is farmed from the benches of Beau Vigne's own Stags Ride Vineyards offering a strikingly beautiful and inviting ruby and garnet hue! The Soda Canyon Cabernet is an inviting wine that quickly greets the nose with aromas of dried cherry, raspberry preserves, French Oak barrel spice, and light chocolate cake. There is a purity of fullness of volume to the start of the mouthfeel. Bright red fruit flavors greet your palate and hit like a flood of black cherry fruit. There is a gentle push from the beginning to the middle and on to the back of the mouth. Certainly a wine for both now and the cellar, the tannins are sensational.
